GuestFirstName: A new placeholder for more personal automatic messages

You can now address your guests by their first name in Automatic Messages using the new GuestFirstName placeholder. This update lets you communicate in a more personal way, providing flexibility in how you craft your messages. Whether you prefer a formal or casual tone, you can choose how to address guests, making your communication feel warmer and less robotic.

Here’s what to expect:

• Use GuestFirstName, GuestLastName, and GuestFullName placeholders in your automatic messages. Default automatic responses have been updated to use GuestFirstName, but you can adjust them manually if needed.

• For future bookings, guest first and last names will be stored separately. You can also enter them separately for manual bookings.

• For past bookings, the GuestFirstName placeholder will show the full name unless updated in the guest details.

This update gives you more control to create messages that feel natural, welcoming, and personalized.
